Anyone Have REALLY Curly Hair
I have really been putting off getting a haircut after 7 inches was taken off during what was supposed to be a "trim" because the stylist obviously did not know how to work with curly hair.
I don't want to go into the city to get a haircut and was hoping some of you ladies could recommend a salon/stylist that has experience working with very curly hair. My DD who is now 2 y/o has never had a haircut because she also has very curly hair and I'm afraid of it being butchered like mine was last time. I live on the south shore of nassau but am willing to travel into western suffolk
Please help

I go to Evolutions Salon but get the wet cut because I feel when they cut your hair dry it really isn't cutting off all the ends and a you cannot wear it straight. I have gotten my hair cut and colored by Erica E and Jlynn.

I go to Erica too but I get dry cuts. LOVE her and I have sent many friends there that love her.

I get my hair cut at who does your hair in Bellmore. Jeanette gives me a DEVA cut, and no one has given me a great cut like her!

agreed! i used to go to curlisto in the city, but jen is familiar with all the different curly hair techniques (curlisto, ouidad and deva), so she can incorporate whatever is best for your hair. and she LISTENS to what you want. i like her!

I used to go to Curlisto's & Ouidad's too!
I now go to LaCole in Seaford. I see Stephanie. I get a dry cut & find it makes a big difference.

I called ak hair studio and a curly cut starts at $73
