So frustrated
Went to the RE today. Brooklyn office well the Stonybrook office didn't provide Brooklyn with anything cept basic information. No injectibles either because I was told about them but nothing was done. The dr in Brooklyn was livid because I was not informed. So the dr there gave me 150mg of clomid and I'm going on Tues to meet with the dr there as that is the easiest office for me to get to Mon-fri. They are going to rush order my injectibles so hopefully I can start them on tues. so it will be a joint clomid/injectible cycle. That's if insurance doesn't give them a problem. Then I get told I have to have a HIV/hepatitis test done but my insurance doesn't cover it. So I called my insurance company and they told me its covered 100% but rsony tells me the claim is always denied. Im waiting for my fertility consultant to call me back from Oxford so I can get some kind of proof. I have such a headache.

Re: So frustrated
Ughh.. I really hate when you speak to multiple people and get different answers!!! I'm not sure if it would help at all, but in the future document the names of who you spoke to and what they said. That way if there are any discrepancies, you could be like "Person X told me yada yada yada"... I'm not so sure that would matter much, but it can't hurt. Ahh I feel your pain because I've been there where I've played phone tag and heard 5 sides to one story.

Re: So frustrated
Thanks yeah I know I have been documenting who I speak with. RSONY told me that my insurance company has been denying Hep and HIV tests since Jan for some reason and now I am trying to get to the bottom of it with Oxford. I have a fertility consultant there so she is researching so that I dont get the incorrect information. RSONY has a discount program to get the tests done but I dont think dh or I should have to pay out of pocket for tests that we are told are covered 100%. Love insurance companies and I work for one.

Re: So frustrated
No you def should not be paying out of pocket for tests that should be covered!! What concerns me about doing that is the fear that I wouldn't get paid back. Def get to the bottom of this before you do any blood work! Maybe someone on here with that insurance could shed some light!!
