Re: Reference for BF'ing

As someone who BF my first I have to say that this is an excellent refresher article and a great guide especially for first time moms!

There are of course a few things that I did diffently: I gave a pacifier right away, I supplemented with formula and I pumped right from the start. I was returning back to work after 4 months so I wanted DS to be exposed to nursing and bottles. I had no problems doing both until my son was 6 months old. But if you're looking to EBF, I would definitely stick to the frequent nursing sessions at the beginning and avoid giving a bottle bc that is how you build up the supply and teach your baby how to efficiently suck and get as much milk out in the least amount of time.
