I'm nervous about tomorrow
Going to my re to have my day 3 testing done and getting my injectibles for my iui. I'm kind of hoping something comes back from my day 3 testing since I'm still unexplained. I know in my head that the shots won't be bad but just the though of injections is making me nauseous.

 The anticipation is far worse than the injections themselves. What I started doing after a while was planning fun things to do after my injections. I'd watch a movie...... play a board game..... if I had something DVR'ed I'd save it for after my injections.... Just do something after that's very routine and go on with your life. Don't spend the rest of the night feeling down, thinking about how you need to stick yourself in order to get pregnant. Just make it routine with as little thought as possible. That's what I found helped me anyway!

the anticipation is the worst. you get used to it very quick and it becomes routine.
also, if you already had basic bloodwork, they likely wont find anything new on cd3, all they look for is the basic hormone levels e2, progesterone, etc.

I was totally freaking out when I had to start injections for IVF since the only one I had done was the ovidrel shot myself...I was a little nervous the first time I had to give myself the gonal shot but after that it was a piece of cake and really didnt hurt...lots of luck!!!

I'm nervous about tomorrow
i did IUI's with injectables and just did 1/2 of an IVF cycle and the injects are really not as bad as you think they will be. i've done all mine myself (hubby is super scared of needles) and once you get past the first one, it's a breeze. good luck! i hope today goes well!!

The shots are not as bad as you would think. The first shot I did took me like 20 minutes to inject. After that first one, each one took like 5 seconds.
