New Mom to be w/2 Ques
Hi!
Today is my DD and I have 2 ques for you BTDT moms.
First off, I am so tired and want nothing more than to just be home to relax b/f my babes comes. My dr said the lastest he will let me go is next Thur. I really want to call my dr and ask if he will give me a note so I dont have to come into work next week. Is this a common and "ok" thing to do?
Second, we got the graco sung ride and we will use the snap n' go until the babes grows out of it. We registered for the City Mini Select but never got it, not a prob I put aside $$ for it. My ques is, that I also registered for the Joovy umbrella stroller and I did get that. Is it necessary for me to have all 3? DH & I are planning to start TTC #2 when DC#1 is about 1 yr old so I dont know if all 3 are necessary.
Thoughts?

Re: New Mom to be w/2 Ques
1. I have no experience with going over my due date but my best friend did with both her sons. Yes she left work on her due date eventhough she did not have the baby yet. I think it is very common. I have friends who left 2 weeks before their due date (even with no complications).
2. I love the snap n go and it was a must for me. So easy and convenient to just whip right out/in your car. I do not think you'll need an umbrella stoller. You could use the umbrella stroller when the baby is older and out of the infant car seat...I think this would then take place of the snap n go. Through experience if I were you I would return the umbrella stoller and get the city select especially since you'll be trying for #2. I love that the select can be a single/double stroller...kicking myself for not getting it from day one.
Good luck!
