I've only recently been able to blow my hair out nicely and even learned to curl it the other day!

I learned to blow it out by watching my stylist at the salon. Chat Icon I like to let my hair dry in a towel for about 30 minutes after showering. I find my hair gets frizzy and yucky if I try to dry it while it's soaking wet. My hair is fine and I'm kinda slow with the blow drying so I first flip my head over and dry the roots a little bit. It gives them a little more volume. Then I dry my hair in three section. I do the underneath part first while the top is pinned on top of my head with a claw clip. I use a 1.5" round brush and switch hands for each side of my head. This was the hardest part for me- learning to use me left hand. Chat Icon But after many months of practice, it's much easier. Once the bottom part is dry, I go to the middle section and then finally the top. I like to curl the tips underneath using the round brush. If there's any spots that are kinda wavy, I use the straightener on them, but more often than not I don't even bother.

I suggest looking up tutorials on pinterest or YouTube. They are really helpful. It's honestly just hard to learn how to position your hands and to use both hands without knocking yourself in the head with the blow dryer, which I did the other day. I have a HUGE bump on my head from it! Chat Icon Whoops!

I did also find this chick's tutorial extremely helpful when learning to curl my hair or make it wavy.

She has gorgeous hair!

I comb my product through (a mix of biosilk and pureology straightening balm), and let my hair air dry for a bit. Then I turn my head upside down and blow dry it upside down, using my fingers as a comb. Then I run my flatiron over it and use a bit of silicon shine spray.

I don't like to use brushes, it takes me too long and I have a dry scalp so it irritates it.
