resort with pools on beach in NorthEast
we are looking for a really nice resort/hotel with an indoor and outdoor pool and on the water within 8 hours of driving from long island. any suggestions? thanks.

If you want to do PA I would do Lancaster County and stay at the Eden Resorts. Beautiful hotel. Indoor outdoor pool and really nicely maintained.

samoset resort in Maine.
Black point Inn in maine (not sure if they have an indoor pool though)

DH and I are going to be staying at the Pridwin on Shelter Island for two nights. It doesn't have an indoor pool, but it is on the beach, and it does have an outdoor pool. It looks awesome!

Pan American in Wildwood Crest is on the beach and has a nice pool. Not sure if they offer an indoor one though.
