Still no baby bump

I am just about 17 weeks and I still have no bump. I was a little overweight pre-pregnancy, but is this normal? Baby is measuring right and growing fine, so I'm not concerned there.

My pre-pregnancy pants are too tight, but I have not gained much weight (maybe only 3-5lbs).

No one can even tell I am pregnant Chat Icon

If you were a little over weight to begin with, when did you really start to show?

Still no baby bump

i wasnt really showing at 17 weeks I popped around 22 - 23 weeks. From what everyone is saying i'm all belly which is fine with me and i've only gained 14 pounds so far and i'm 34 weeks today. I was on the thicker side ;) to begin with. Don't worry as long as everything is measuring fine with the doc you will pop before you know it.

I was a normal weight/had a flat stomach pre-pregnancy and I didn't show until after 22 weeks. No one knew I was pregnant by just looking at me, and even at 22 weeks strangers were questioning whether or not it was a bump at that point... I didn't actually start to get big and truly show people i was pregnancy until about 25 weeks. I didn't get comments from strangers until after 30 weeks.

I just started showing and I'm 23 weeks. Some people tell me that can't even tell I'm pregnant. I too am a little on the thicker side but don't worry your bump will appear before you know it.

I am 17 weeks too. I gained about 7 pounds so far and while I have switched to maternity pants, I still wear normal clothes. The tops are just tight in the boobs.

I am still hiding it from work.

I feel like I just look bloated/post Christmas weight, not pregnant.

I hope I start looking cute soon too!

Re: Still no baby bump

With my 1st you really couldn't tell until about 26wks, and that was if I really worked it with the maternity clothes. By 35wks I could wear the cute roushed tops, and not look just fat. I could still wear my prepregnancy tops until the end with her. With my 2nd I was about 16wks, but I showed much faster and got a lot biggerChat Icon

Re: Still no baby bump

I'm plus sized and I don't think I started to show until 20 weeks. Although my clothes didn't fit and I needed maternity pants.

Everyone is different, don't worry you'll get your bump soon! I'm the opposite, I'm just 12 weeks and not out at work yet but I know everyone "knows", I'm HUGE this time. People I've recently told all have said "You know, I thought you were but I was afraid to ask". This is #2 for me though so I think that's why. I kinda wish it weren't so obvious but it is what it is. Just a flip side to what you're saying!

Re: Still no baby bump

I was overweight before and I only started showing around 20-22 weeks. I'm not even sure if people who don't know me can notice yet now at 24 weeks. It might be the way I carry or just because I had a smaller waist and wasn't heavy in my upper belly. I still barely look pregnant from the front.

I didnt show til about 25 weeks also. I remember the looks I got from people when I would talk about having a girl, lol. It was like they thought I was crazy lady making up that I was preggo.
