Spiteful? If someone hurts you or your feelings do you feel the need to talk about them or get them back? And if yes would you talk about your own friends behind their back?

Hmmmm I have been spiteful when i was younger.
Not now. I have no need to say things that would hurt a friend. Even if we aren't seeing eye to eye.
OK OK... i have thought about being spiteful....i just never end up doing it cause ultimately it makes me feel worse!
When i am having problems with a friend.....i will go to other friends for advice....not to talk bad about them.
BUT i have had this done to me and have watched people do it to others...

I am spiteful and will talk to others if my felling are hurt by someone that is not a friend- but my friends I will speak to directly.

I won't lie and say I haven't talked behind people's backs but there's usually a reason behind it (I feel/have been hurt or I'm angry at the person, etc.) I don't know if I would call that spiteful.
Usually if I'm not happy with someone, they pretty much can tell. I withdraw from the relationship completely.

No, I never say anyything I wouldnt say to someones face. I may say not to tell someone, but if they did, I would stand by what I said. Being spiteful usually means you have no point to stand on. I can easily when speaking prove my point with facts etc, not spite.
I have had people do things to me I felt was done on spite, but no-ones perfect so I will normally let it go unless It happens a lot.
