During L&D class we were told no contacts. Especially if you need an emergency csection.

If they have to put you under general anesthesia then you definitely can't have contacts in. Otherwise, it's probably ok, but will depend on the hospital.

In St. Charles (had my DS) and I was not allowed to wear contacts ~ Via c-section
In Stony Brook (had my daughter) ~ scheduled c-section I was allowed to wear my contacts.
