but are you all still having sex while preggers? I only am asking because every time we have had sex, I began to spot after. My dr. advised me that the contracting of my uterus was causing the placenta to "tear" causing the spotting. It was not red, just brown (tmi I know ladies) but really, I miss being intimate with my husband.... Has anyone else had this problem? Are you all still having sex?

Sorry if this is a really nosey question, but I am kind of curious to see if any one else is experiencing what I am ?

We still have sexy time, but only because I've never spotted afterwards. If I did spot after sex, I would probably be too anxious to do it. Did your doctor say it was OK even though it was causing spotting?

They didn't seem alarmed by it. They told me why it could be happening and advised "pelvic rest" after it. I miss sexy time. It kind of sucks....

Re: This might be a too much of a question

I have been on pelvic rest since day 1 so I feel ur pain

If they told u you were on pelvic rest I am surprised they even gave u the ok for sex bc for me it was a major no and I have still had major bledding issues

I was told nothing in the who ha at all...and even as for him maybe making u feel good that was no too bc nothing to make the uterus contract so the big o became the big no lol

We're still intimate about 1-2 times per week (I have been lucky and have not had any bleeding). I'm 37 weeks tomorrow, so our sessions are usually a comedy routine.

This just made me laugh so hard. Love this ! They told me pelvic rest for a week. Those "weeks" have come and gone. It's been a long time =( I need some Chat Icon

As for "other things" I have been a wonderful wife and still been great in that dept for DH. But for me, well, I always get an O and I guess they are pretty intense so... I may try tonight and pray there is no more spotting. In the beginning I did have placenta previa but now it's moving so maybe that will help. I just do not want to spot, do not want to harm my babe etc.

Gina has a good point actually.

When I was early on the sex dreams were INSANE! I would literally wake up mid orgasm. Then Id start cramping really bad and start spotting. So maybe they do mean no to the big O .. Boo that sucks!!!

Re: This might be a too much of a question

I have full placenta previa (fingers crossed that this fixes itself) so i am on pelvic rest, we found on out 7/3 and can not have sex until my next sono on 8/14 (I need 6 weeks to see if the placenta moves). if it has moved, it is Chat Icon if not then we could have to wait until after the baby is born!!!
