How to wear a black miniskirt?
I have a cute stretchy one I got from VS and it fits perfectly but I haven't been brave enough to wear it out yet  I don't love my legs (bad spider veins and a huge birthmark) so I was thinking of wearing it in the fall. Are tights still "in"? Would you wear black or a color/pattern? With what kind of shirt/shoes/boots? Help!

Done tastefully, you can do sexy lace stockings or patterened stockings or even thigh-highs, with very high boots. i'd then just dress conservatively up top for a balanced look.

How to wear a black miniskirt?
I have a black stretchy mini from BCBG that I love. I usually wear it with black tights and great heels (usually chunky-ish ones so I dont look like a hooker lol) and a big shirt up top - either a longer button down (silk) or a big sweater, some layers even. You can definitely play with it. Please do NOT wear thigh highs like the pic above, it is so cute on her but not "street worthy." Just my opinion!! You can even dress it down with some flats and a big shirt....

Yes!
I have a black stretchy mini kind of like you described and I wear it year round!
In the winter and fall, I do black tights (either solid or patterned) with boots or heels.
In summer I pair it with strappy sandals, sally hansen air brush legs , and a short sleeved blouse or top,etc
You basically can't go wrong no matter how you wear it!
