SPR.... How much?

So, I left my last job go be a SAHM. Too many hours, daycare cost, commute, etc wasn't worth it. DH is doing well, but we still have to watch what we do.
So, after almost 2 months of being home I was contacted by an agent i worked with. He wants me to work for them as a Project manager for a new co they just signed. About 20 to 25 hours. They're going to 1099 me.
It seems like a lot to do since I have a 1 and 3 yr old. I feel like I dont get a ton of time to myself on the computer to get stuff done. My parents live close, but i can't expect them to always be available to watch the boys.
They want to make me an offer, but i said it has to be enough where I can afford childcare once in a while if needed, pay my taxes and still come out positive.
It doesn't have to be 5 straight hours a day. I the morning, go online in he afternoon and some small stuff at night if needed.

He asked me how much I was thinking i should get. That's not my strong point. What would you think and you think its worth it? 40 or more an hour?

$40 is $1000/week and I would put away about 30% for taxes. So that would be about $700/week. Even 25 hours x$10 for daycare is only $250 (but it doesn't seem like you will be doing nearly that much).

You don't have clothing or commuting costs, so it's $450+ a week extra money.

I'm not sure what the going rate is, but you can always ask for $50 and settle on $40.

Also consider what you used to make per hour, even if you were paid a salary. Figure it out per hour, and see how far it is off from the above calculation.
