What earrings are you in love With?
I want a new pair. I do not want anything dangling but something shiny that stands out.
I checked out David yurman, but nothing really wowed me, but are along the lines of what i'm looking for.
Any suggestions ?

It was looking at an old post about diamond studs and saw a lot of you adies have 1c or larger. How much des it cost for studs that large?
1 stud is the size of most erings, no?

I wear my studs every day and am usually too lazy to take them out lol They are 1.5 ct and I believe DH paid about $3,500 for them. They're pretty middle of the road, not sure of the exact color and clarity but they're very clear, no imperfections. You can go down in clarity/color or up depending on your taste and budget. In my opinion, there's no need to go too high in clarity because nobody every inspects them or grabs them like they do your engagement ring. It's just a passing glance so who cares but other girls may feel differently.

I wear diamond stud my parents gave me for college graduation - They're only 1/3 ct each ......I would love an upgrade, I'm thinking 10 year anniversary

Thanks ladies!
I need something real bc i have an allergy to fake earings and I have diamond studs that are .3c (larger would be nice) im also thinking of something in a setting possibly. would definetly like if you could post some pics of what you like and where they are from.

I was recently shopping for jewelery with my MIL and she purchased a halo for her earrings. It may be a cheaper option than upgraded to larger stones and it's removable so you can wear the studs alone or with the halo. She has large studs, but got the halo to dress them up for events. You can also put the halo with another stone stud if you have it. Thought it was a neat idea.
ETA: They are called diamond jackets.

my diamond studs were made from my engagement ring...they're 1/2c each. the jeweler said if i bought them it would have been $3000.
i wear them everyday because it's a PITA to take them in and out.

you can also get CZs in a real gold setting. i think they're like $50. i used to wear those...i'm allergic to anything not gold in my ears.

i wear oversized pearls or large thin gold hoops - both are my go -to earrings. i also have a round pave style diamond set that i wear.

1 kt (each ear) daimond studs. Must be excellent quality. I currently have .5 Kt (each ear). I would  to double their size....

I've worn these sterling silver hoops from Tiffany's every day for 2 years. I never take them off. I can't wear anything but hoops. My ears get infected with anything else.

I used to wear the same ones but one was wonky and didn't fit right and I lost it. I miss those.

This. QVC's Diamonique line are usually in platinum or gold, and are gorgeous!
