How many iui's did you have bf moving on?
Just wondering. I'm only on 2 should be on 4 but because of incompetence didn't happen. IVF financially is out of the question for us right now but we will make it happen if it's needed.

Got pregnant on 3rd, but lost our boy at 17wks.... 3 more, and had a chemical. So 6 total, and then started IVF. I personally don't think it's something to jump into, especially without at least trying injectable IUIs (depending on your issues).

I think it depends on the reason for your infertility. My DH produces little to no sperm, but we have limited quantities of frozen sperm so we went directly to IVF. If you have coverage for IUI, I would definitely try that a few more times and then try to save up for IVF in the meantime.

Oh I'm definitely not stopping. Was just wondering what everyone's experience was hey I could be pg now. We have unexplained IF all of our tests keep coming back normal. Moving onto injectibles next month if this month didn't take.

4, got pregnant on two of them, both losses.
my doc said your the pregnancy stats go down after the 3rd or 4th iui. but you never know!

I did some research and kept coming up with this. I choose to do IVF after 3 IUIs. It was just what I felt I needed to do - but it was also covered 100%. I would have done at least 6 IUIs if IVF wasn't covered.
ETA: I mean if the IUI's were covered but IVF was not.

I got pregnant on my 1st injectable IUI cycle for both of my pregnancies.
One resulted in my DS who is now 19 months old and the other ended in a MC at 9 weeks.
I have PCOS and do not ovulate on my own... so our IF issue was strictly mine. My DH has an insanely high sperm count, so I really think that is why we got so lucky both times - 159million and 135million. 
I would personally do at least 5-6 IUIs before moving on to IVF.

We were ready to move onto IVF after 6 IUIs (I had the consultation set up and everything). I ended up getting pregnant on the 6th IUI.

I thought I did 9 IUI's but after looking at my calendars it seems that I did 11 :-P all were clomid/IUI's none resulted in BFP
After 2nd IUI I concieved naturally with a MC at 4 months.
after MC I did 6 more IUI's then moved to IVF#1 --->BFP
tried naturally and did 3 more clomid/IUI's- didnt work
then 2 more IVF fresh cycles...got BFP on my 3rd
We were unexplained IF for 4 years (until 3rd IVF) where we decided to so the SCSA DNA Fragmentation Analysis which resluts came back with 30.9% Frag MI which was the cause of our IF issues. With this knowledge we did PICSI/ICSI with our 3rd IVF and not only did we get pregnant but we also got 5 frosties :)

never did an IUI but did 6 medicated cycles of timed intercourse. got pregnant twice but both were chemical. for us IUI didn't up the chances enough to take the fun out of making a baby. we only moved to IVF when dr. B said it was becoming unsafe to keep stimming for TI since i was either a very high or very low responder and he felt with IVF we could better control multiples since we knew how many embies we were putting back.
i got pregnant with  on first IVF and have 8 frosties.
i think unexplained is a relative term. i think if you see an RE that deals with immune/thrombo issues, you very rarely get dx as unexplained. it just depends on how deep the doctor wants to dig!! good luck!!

We did 2 cycles of clomid/TI and 6 cycles of IUI's...we had to do 6 IUI's for insurance purposes...if I had a choice I would have moved onto IVF sooner
