Need hairstyle help for a wedding I'm in...
My hair is shoulder-length, very straight, and very, very thick. Wedding is in a couple of weeks, so I'd like to have an updo, or a half-up, half-down kind of thing, but nothing too 'busy'. Any ideas? I've never worn a halter-style dress, so I'm kind of lost here. I guess the neckline affects the hairstyle? I don't know. I'm not very girly. Help me out, please! Pics or websites with photos would be greatly appreciated.

I love that look, it's not TOO done up, a little messy and very pretty. Glad you like it too

Thanks! I love vintage :) I've never tried finger waves before...my hair is SUPER thick and so straight; I don't know if it'll take it well! I'm going to look into some how-to videos and give it a go on my own this weekend to see if my hair will agree with the style, this way I'm not sitting in the salon on the morning of my friend's wedding with possibly uncooperative hair! LOL
