Temple Beth David in commack

Anyone use them or know someone who uses them for preschool/pre-k? Thoughts on their program are much appreciated. Feel free to fm me. Best Learning is closer, but there are some other issues for my DD that they can't accomodate, but the temple will. I also like that they will get some Jewish influence and there are family services we can attend. I know no one who uses them though for preschool. Thanks in advance.

Re: Temple Beth David in commack

I would prefer Best Learning over the Commack places because I live near Hauppauge and we know 2 people from my previous daycare who use them. The temple looks very clean and neat, rooms are large. I do like that there are bathrooms in the classrooms at the temple. Best has one hallway bathrooms and it seemed like the kids have to use the bathroom on a schedule which I really didn't care for.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences they can share, good or bad, about temple Beth David's preschool. We are not members of the temple but not sure that matters. Greatly appreciate it.

Re: Temple Beth David in commack

We looked at it and we were impressed with the temple, the teachers, the rabbi and some other parents who they introduced us to. We looked at it before they had a full day program. We would have had to rely on my parents more often or have a nanny because I work full time. Now they have a full time program and part time programs.

Also, I met someone who changed their temple affiliation from another temple to Beth David and they are much happier.

We hope to join a temple very soon. Are you considering becoming members?
