Why won't anyone let me complain???
No one wants to hear me complain about being almost 8 months pregnant in this hot ass weather. It's uncomfortable as helll. I understand that I'm not the first person to go through this, but this is my first time going through this. I would like to air my complaints about being pregnant here, because you all can sympathize.
- My ankles are freaking huge. Actually, I no longer have ankles...the extention of my calves are huge. And I have small toes to begin with, they are now fighting for space on my foot they are so huge.
- I'm hot. Like at least 20 degrees hotter then a normal person. I can't prance around outside and I certainly can't sunbathe. Oh, and I have a heat rash on my belly because I sweat like a ho in church.
- I can't move that well. If I'm laying down it takes a team of men and a lot of grunting to get up. I try rocking back and forth, but that doesn't help.
- Much much less important, I want a freaking wine cooler.
- My indigestion is OOC. Out. Of. Control. I can have a glass of water and I'll be regretting that decision in 10 minutes. I purchased the costco pack of Pepcid thinking I would never use the whole thing. I just bought my second bottle.
- The maternity clothes I have been wearing are starting to get tight. WTFFF pea in the pod? They are supposed to be clothes I can wear during my maternity. I still have 10 weeks to go and that blue panel is already restricting my air flow. And don't even get me started on my bathing suit. I got it from Omar the tent maker (he also designs my bras)
Pshewww. I feel much better. Even after all my complaints, when my little girly moves around in there and I'm the only one that can feel it, I would certainly say it is all worth it and I can't wait to do it again (in many years). I told DH we can't have sex in the winter anymore just in case I get pregnant again.
Please feel free to voice your complaints. If you are like me, I know how much you love being pregnant and you are grateful and thankful you are pregnant. But everyone is entitled to complain once in a while.

I totally understand how your feeling - my 1st was born August 29th so getting throught the summer SUCKS!!! LOL
Now this time around rt now only 24 weeks along and do actually feel your pain!
DH can be so insensitive it's rediculous - yesterday I didn't vaccuum and he came home from work and says "Ya know, stuff doesn't just happen around here" needless to say I didn't speak to him for the rest of the evening! Chasing around a 6yr old and just the strain from being pregnant are not easy. And some people just don't get it!
Hang in there and stay cool - hang out in your bathing suit (tent) in the nice cool ac!

You are so sweet Danielle!
I'm so sorry you're not feeling well -- pregnancy is uncomfortable. In so so so many ways!! It can be downright barely bearable! You are getting through this like a champ!!!!
My biggest complaint right now is that no deodorant works. I feel like a nasty greasy guy with the pit stains I get sometimes!!! I don't smell, but it looks like I peed my armpits!
10 weeks seems like eternity but it'll go quickly! I have 13 weeks to go now and am kinda in a daze over it!
I think you need a great prenatal massage and maybe a little weekend retreat surrounded by cool water. Feel better!!! Babylicious is almost here!

Oh complain away Danielle!! I'm trying not to think of the heat...but its a hard task!
Last weekend my ILs had a BBQ & although Sunday was the cooler of the 2 days - the AC wasnt on! I was dyyyyying (and kind of annoyed)!
The worst part is that with 7 weeks to go, I'm in full nesting mode...but its too hot to get everything done I want to get done! Not to mention, I'm exhausted half of the time & just dont feel like doing anything.
Oh yea - clothing. dont get me started. At this point, I'm starting not to care about how i look.
My favorite is trying to get out of bed in the middle of the night. I literally have to roll & plop my feet to the ground. It's great!
All I keep thinking is soon...soon I'll be kissing & hugging my big bean (and should she choose to come in 4 weeks, I'm a-okay with that!)

Aww Danielle, you can complain as much as you want! It all stinks! I'm so lucky to be in my first trimester both times throughout the summer. The one thing I would say you should definitely watch out for is swollen ankles. My ankles were really swollen and I would up with pre-e after delivery. It was bad! Make sure you're telling your doctor about that.

feel better... my first wasnt bad just tiredness
this time im cranky.sore boobs and sore legs. morning sickness til20 weeks...and now i miss it cause it was keeping the weight off...perfume allergy causing dizziness..arghhh

You are totally allowed to complain. At least on here.
My family has been good and telling me to sit and relax and use pregnancy as an excuse for everything.
And I've been pulling the panel down letting my belly breath since about 16 weeks. Usually just while sitting in the couch. Lol. But I can't stand anything on my belly at times.

Im sorry but this makes me furious. Thats the most insensitive comment Ive ever heard. 24 weeks pregnant with a 6 yr is a job in itself. I would never vacuum again and tell him if he wants it done then he knows where it is.
