Did you get a cradle?
DH and I want to get one but we dont like the ones we have been seeing in BRU and BBB...
any ideas?

I love cradles. I believe Pottery Barn has one. But I didn't like that they rock so easily.

one of my friends is lending me hers that i'll keep downstairs and i'll have a bassinet up in the bedroom.

We are using the cradle that my father made for me when I was born. He's going to refinish. It's gorgeous and a nice size. My mom said she had us in there for about 5-6 months and she had big babies!

I have always wanted a cradle instead of a bassinet.....but I don't think we have the room for it! But I so want one!

we acutally bought a bassinet and lov eit - it looked kinda cute in the sotre, i have to say after going back, I didn't love it - but my friend swore it ws the est ever because the hood goes accross the bassinet instead of where the head is.....and now that we have it home I love it, its so cute and perfect - plus it will fold down little in the attic for whenever we deicde if we want a #2!!

Behr's had really nice wood ones, if youw ant to go that route. They looked like they would last a long time. They were fairly inexpensive, I think they ranged from $125 and up.

the arms reach co-sleeper was great. I liked how in the middle of the night you dont even have to get out of bed to pick up the baby. It connects level with your mattress...i didnt breastfeed but alot of my friends who did loved how you could scoop the baby right up and bring him/her into the bed with you for the feeding....there is also a great zippered storage area underneath the co sleeper. it also packs up convienent if you need to travel with it. It turns into a toy chest also but i didnt use it as that. I was very happy with this product.
