Disney question #5973847524 - buses at the mods
I think I'm becoming obsessed.
I am looking for information about Disney transportation at the mods. Basically, what are the pluses or minus, and how long to get to MK, Epcot, and HS.
Also, I think I'd like to do Ohana, so how much of a pain would it be to get there?
Thank you experts!

Re: Disney question #5973847524 - buses at the mods
I just got back on the 2nd from Disney, we stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter. It was fairly crowded the whole time we were there and we never had more than a 10 minute wait-however often times we walked right up to the bus stop as a bus was pulling up or waiting about 5 minutes. Waiting ten minutes was the exception. I was very impressed. Happy planning, I know it can be so overwhelming but it is a great vacation!

Getting to Ohana would be easy. You just take the bus to MK from your hotel and hop the resort monorail over to the Poly. Same with any of the restaurants in the monorail resorts like chef mickey's. They are easy to get to. Just leave plenty of time to get there. The poly is a nice hotel to walk around.

Disney buses are really not the 3rd circle of hell like some people make them out to be. I tell everyone to "pack your patience" when going to Disney and you'll be fine.

For restaurants, as PP posted, it's really not that hard to get to them, especially the ones on the monorail loop, plus you get to ride the monorail! Yay!
Another thought is sometimes when we're at a restaurant and don't feel like taking the bus, we'll take a cab back to the hotel. From any point within WDW to any other point it's usually about $15 or so. Still cheaper than renting a car.
