Price for baby furniture
How much did you pay for each piece of your baby furniture? If you know the name of it and where you bought it that would be helpful too. I'm just trying to get an idea of prices. TIA

Price for baby furniture
it really depends on you - i'll probably end up getting furniture from target where the crib is around $250 and dresser is also around $250. I've seen affordable gliders for about $1-200 but may not buy one at all.
the baby stores (BRU and BBB) are more expensive - you can find their prices online.
specialty furniture stores / brands (like behrs / bellini / etc) are super-pricey. i haven't even priced those out since i just don't want to fall in love with something that i won't be able to afford.

Price for baby furniture
we went with europa baby (BRU) for our first child....about $300 for crib and another $300 for dresser/changing table with coupons.
but fyi....we had to buy another crib since were now expecting twins, and they discontinued the color.....we just scored the second crib for $98! we bought it asap bc there are only 3 left. you have to ask them to look in the computer for it. so if anyone is looking for a cheap (and i mean CHEAP) convertible crib you cant beat that!

I went on overstock.com
got the crib, 4drawer dresser and a change table - it was like $550 shipped..

$650 for the long dresser
$650 for the crib
$550 for the tall dresser/chest
We got them all at buy buy baby and were able to use a 20% off coupon for each one.

We got our crib at buy buy baby. Bonavita brand. It was $400, but you can use a 20% coupon towards it - making it about $320.

We got Pali furniture @ a specialty store in NJ but you can order it online
The (Salerno) crib was $450
Long dresser (Volterra) was $650
Plus delivery/assembly $75
They were having a 12% sale so we got a little bit of a break.

It depends on where you buy from and what peices you want. We just want a long dresser, hutch and tall dresser and the stuff we are looking at at Behrs was $2000 and Bonavita type brands at BBB were $1500-$1700 but you can sign up for coupons under a few different names to get coupons for each item. So they were a lot cheaper. Of course the one I want isnt sold at BBB but I might have to settle for something I like, not love at BBB. And we are doing Target cribs b/c we don't plan to convert to toddler beds and there isnt room for 2 fulls in their room.

We got DD's furniture at BRU. Delta Venetian crib and dresser. It was about $600 total and has held up well.

we got the crib for 499, and dresser for 599, rails were 200-300, mattress was free, shippingwiht installation was 125. we got all our furniture from behrs.. I liked the fact that they delivered when i requested it.. I probably paid more for convenience..

i found a copy of PBK furniture at mybobs.com - i paid 299 for the lingere chest and $325 for the dresser. The cribs i bought on walmart.com- jenny lind. You can see the pics in my albums.

We got the furniture from BBB. We got the convertible crib, 2 dressers and a hutch. The total with coupons and tax was about $1500.

Depends where you're buying -
Both of my boys got a convertible crib and dresser - Paid about $2500 each time - but they will be keeping this furniture for a LONG time !!

We got a Graco Charleston convertible crib from Baby Depot, also sold on Target and Walmarts websites and Amazon, for $180. Our dresser is from furnakit for $200 because we didn't care if the dresser was made from real wood or not. The Graco crib however is solid wood and we feel it's great quality and got excellent reviews so we are very happy with the price for that. We also got a book shelf at Ikea for about $120. And our glider is a Shermag for $300 from babies r us. I couldn't believe the glider ended up being the most espensive thing in the room!
Eta: all of our furniture had to be assembled which is why it wasn't too expensive. We don't mind assembling though which is why we chose that to save a little money. Some people prefer to order furniture and have it delivered which obviously costs more. It's really a personal choice.
