HIDA Scan and being around kids?

Did anyone ever have a Hida Scan? My doctor is sending me for one..and from the research I have done it says that you can't be around children for 48-72 hours...I have a 15 week old! Does this mean I can't be in my house with him, or just that I can't touch him?

Any info would be appreciated, I am flipping out now..thanks.

Definitely talk to your doctors. (pediatrician and GI). I researched before mine and found the same info. When I called the GI and asked about it, they said they would just tell me all that when I was released after the scan. I told them it was ridiculous to tell me as I was about to go home to my son and they should warn people. Anyway, I was allowed to be in the same house, but not go near him. Tore me to pieces. My son was older though, somewhere around 18 months. Maybe there are more rules since your child is younger.
