Should I be concerned?
So I went in for monitoring and I have 16 measurable follicles. My e2 level is 1300 so they have me taking ganirelix tonight and tomorrow morning plus reducing my meds again. Today is stim day 6?

Re: Should I be concerned?
I am sure your E2 levels are high because you have a lot of follicles. How big are they measuring - you might wind up triggering before your E2 level get too high? Also - what are you triggering with? The trigger shot is often what agitates OHSS.
Last cycle, my E2 levels were:
Day 7 - 1038 (similar to yours) Day 8 - 1686 Day 9 - 3791 Day 10 (trigger) - 5312
They put me on Dostinex after my ER. As I said before, my OHSS was quite mild - I was uncomfortably bloated for one day - even though my E2 levels were very high. I feel like you never really know if your elevated E2 levels will actually cause OHSS.
Also - I hate gatorade so I really just stuck with water for hydration and I ate really small meals. Half a sandwich made me feel stuffed.

They are all measuring between 10-13 plus I have smaller ones...they did mention triggering with lupron instead of hcg...I had to give myself a ganirelix shot tonight plus tomorrow morning and they hope that will help suppress me...I hope it works...I will be back in for monitoring tomorrow to see

sounds fine as long as they are maturing at an equal pace. your e2 is going to get high and youre gonna have a lot of follies and be an OHSS risk.
you never did an injectable cycle right? i never understood why doctors use IVF as the first try at injectables, when you have a few injectable IUI cycles under your belt the dosage is a little more predictable. although never totally predictable, injectables are sort of trial and error the first few cycles you do them.
as long as they have you on ganirelix to prevent ovulation, i wouldnt worry too much. you will likely get a bunch of eggs.
good luck!

Nope never did injectables since I responded to clomid/femara...they were afraid I would stimulate too much for an IUI...they are all maturing at the same pace which they said was good...I was just worried that the e2 was getting high but I guess they are monitoring really closely plus they reduced my meds & have me taking ganirelix...I may just ask about the lupron again since they would have to order it anyway

I have never heard of dostinex but I will ask about it and see if that would be something they would consider to prevent OHSS...thanks for the info
