Charlie Horses
Holy cow - every night I am waking up with these terrible cramps in my legs!!! Is this normal and what can i do to help them? Please help...

It's normal. When it happens flex your foot towards your shin. Also when you stretch do not point your toes!! I even try to keep my foot flexed toward my shin when I roll over. It's awful I hope this helps!

never point your toes!! It gives an immediate cramp! Try eating a banana before bed. the potassium is helpful for cramping.

Try not to stretch your legs -- it's a hard habit to break but if I catch myself in time, it helps a lot. I always flex my foot and if the cramps start, pull my foot as hard as I can flexed. Banana's a good idea too. Feel better!

I agree with the PP - stop stretching! I've also been eating bananas pretty much daily and that's been helping too.
