coxsackie AGAIN?

So DD had coxsackie two weeks ago and has been fine for a solid week. Was happy and healthy all weekend. this morning she woke up with a fever. by mid day it was 102.9 so i took her to the doc after giving her infants advil and the doc saw nothing. everything was clear, nothing in her throat. i'm so nervous that it could be coxsackie again. could it be this soon again?!

Re: coxsackie AGAIN?

My son got it twice in one month. Both completely different. Dr. said there are many strains... Hope your little one is feeling better!

We are just getting over it over here -- it is rampant this summer! I hope she isn't getting it again -- it is so awful!

Re: coxsackie AGAIN?

thanks folks...crossing my fingers but I DON'T think it's coxsackie. I think it's teething. Her fever has not been as high as it was yesterday late morning since then. She woke up this morning in good spirits and had her bottle and breakfast. Fever is like 99. She is definitely cutting another tooth too. So the two bottom teeth on either side of the two bottom front teeth are both coming through. PLEASE let that be it!!!Chat Icon
