Has anyone done a CEMA w/BoA lately?
We're looking to refi with our CU & need to get a CEMA with our current lender BoA.
BoA is telling us our lead time is 25 days, but from the posts I've read here it seems like it can take months.
Has anyone done one recently & if so, what was your lead time?
TIA!

Our original laon is with BOA and we are refinancing through Cliffco Mortgage. We were told about 7-8 weeks.

I did not use BOA but when I refi'd I did have to pay a $600 fee and then it took maybe 3-4 weeks but that was because the lawyer's office also followed up with them constantly.

Thanks so much for the responses!
I decided yesterday not to take any chances with BoA, we're so tired of them. We're forgoing the CEMA & just paying the tax. It's only $900 more, I figure that money will save me on the stress, chasing BoA & making sure our refis get done in a timely manner so we don't lose the 3.75% on both.
