What flooring material is in your finished basement?
I guess tile makes the most sense. What do you have and do you have any regrets?

Sheet linoleum. It's not as ugly as it was in the 80s. Ours looks like hardwood.
Easy to install and keep clean.
ETA: Then we have some area rugs in the places where we would prefer carpet. (In front of couch, etc)

Re: What flooring material is in your finished basement?
I have carpeting (it's a commercial grade type, durable carpet). The basement was actually carpeted when we bought the house. I like it because our finished basement is primarily my preschool aged ds's playroom/extra tv room, and I think carpeting warms it up and makes it feel more like a room. But our basement is very dry, we never get water, EVER.
If water was at all a possibility, I obviously would never go for wall to wall carpeting. If you have a dry basement, I think carpeting is always nice to make it feel like liveable space -- most of the flipped and/or staged houses I see have neutral color carpeting. If water is an issue, I'd go for wood laminate or tile.

We just installed TrafficMaster Allure Ultra Vinyl Plank Flooring in our pantry as a quick, cheap & temporary remodel and we're so impressed with how it looks, we plan on using it in our basement when we finish it.
some pics so you can get an idea of what it looks like:
obviously our pantry is still under construction (we ran out of flooring, so we're waiting on that to arrive, hence the missing piece in the far corner.)

Re: What flooring material is in your finished basement?
we had an occasional water issue and wanted to keep it cool there in the the summer so we put down ceramic tile and have a big area rug. Also, we have a bar which means we have drunk people spilling drinks often, so i am really happy we did the tile since its so easy to clean or we would have some nasty carpets!

We used the Armstrong Luxury Vinyl plank in almost the same color. Great product, very easy to install and easy to maintain.
