Thank you gift help
DH's best friend's sister gave me all her maternity clothes (a TON) and I think she still has more for me. I'd like to give her something as a thank you, any suggestions? If it matters, she is about 2 months pp and just moved into a new house. The only thing I can think of is sending her an edible arrangement.
TIA

What about a gift card she can use towards new clothes? I'm sure she'll be ready to buy new things to update her wardrobe. Especially when she returns to work.

Thank you gift help
I'd probably give around $100 if I was going to give a gift card to thank someone for saving me from buying a new wardrobe. Maybe even a little more if I could swing it! (I just bought a pair of great maternity shorts that cost me $40 -- clothes are pricey!!) I was going to suggest stuff for the baby or an amazon gift card. I loooove amazon!!! I can't stop buying stuff!

honestly, it depends on your financial situation. i think most people give hand-me-downs out of the goodness of their heart, bc they'd like to see the items being used - all the better if they know the person. i wouldn't expect anything in return if i were giving them... so i think whatever you can swing is generous in and of itself. $100 like sandra said is great if you can afford it, but i'd say even $50 is very nice.

Re: Thank you gift help
I think $50 would be fine...Some people are awkward accepting gifts that are larger.

You can't go wrong with BTU, BBB or Home Depot.

Re: Thank you gift help
I would do a $50 giftcard to a clothing store she likes and something edible or drinkable like wine (although I know some women PP still don't like to drink if they BF) or a box of treats she likes (chocolates, cookies, whatever).
