Travel in decemeber
My dh wants for his birthday rather than a party he would like to go away for a week, where are some places we can go in December and still enjoy the sun and beach?
We will also have our twins with us who will be 20 mths

aruba! very hot in december and relaxing beaches, good restaurants etc.. they have a nice butterfly farm for the kids..

You have to go pretty far south. It's possible but there's no guarantee that you're going to get beach weather if you go to Florida or Bermuda. You'll have a pretty good shot if you go to the Bahamas or of course the caribbean.
I'm sure others can chime in more about other areas. Maybe TX or So Cal?

I second Aruba. DH and I go away frequently in December and Aruba is wonderful - warm enough so you can enjoy the beach and family friendly.
We've gone to Cancun as well but, the weather there was hit or miss.

We've done the Dominican Republic, St. Lucia and Jamaica in the month of December and had great weather at all 3. I would recommend either DR or Jamaica with the kids, they have a lot of family friendly resorts.
