25wks 5days & miserable

I'm easily exhausted. And very lightheaded almost ALL the time!

Tired all the time - even with 7-8 hrs of sleep @ night.
Feel like I can barely make it thru the work day.
DS is 5 yrs old & a little demanding- esp since he just got a cast on his right arm. And Im having trouble getting hint o understand my exhaustion.
DH's sched rotates so he isn't home every night or evey weekend to give me a break.

I just wish I could catch a break to rest & have it last (the restful feeling)

Ugh sorry you're going through all that. Chat Icon My daughter is only 1 1/2 so she's enjoying a little extra Blue's Clue's time while mommy lays out on the couch. It's still tough. I hope you start to feel better soon!!

p.s.- you have to change the caption under your username. Chat Icon

Re: 25wks 5days & miserable

I could've written this word for word (except the cast, which I am so sorry about.)

DS is about to turn 5 and DH works rotating shifts. Thank God I no longer work the rotating shifts anymore, but my job still exhausts me too. I was actually able to show DS how small a baby is when put into a mommy's belly. (I showed him a teeny freckle on his arm.) Then I showed him how big he was when he came out of the belly (with a household pillow we had.) I explained all my energy was going to growing that baby from freckle to pillow and I needed some quiet time. He now finds a show on DVR and lets me lay down in bed. He comes to get me when it's over. In fact, he usually gives me a few extra minutes because he wants the baby to be strong. I don't argue that. It's the best 25 minutes of sleep I get!
