How do you store your jewelry?
My jewelry is taking over my dresser, so I need to do something! I've been thinking about a jewelry armoire, but not sure what kind, etc. How do you store your jewelry? Any suggestions?!

How do you store your jewelry?
DH bought me a jewelry armoire a few years ago and it's great. It has a few drawers tat hold a lot of stuff, each side has doors that open for hanging necklaces and when top opens there is a mirror and an area for rings and other small stuff.
I have tons of costume jewelry plus my real jewelry and it holds it all and I can always see everything I have which I love.

I have a jewelry box, but it works best for earrings and rings. My necklaces and bracelets get all jumbled.
For a cheap, quick fix, I just read an article about using a multi-tiered hanger, the kind used to hang several pairs of pants on one hanger, for bracelets and necklaces. You hang the longer necklaces on the bottom rung, the bracelets up top, and the in between length items in between. And then you can just hang it in your closet and see everything, without things getitng jumbled and tangled.

I have a beautiful jewelry box (it's large, though, with many drawers) from Pottery Barn that DH bought for me and had my initials etched in the glass on top -- PB has a very nice line of jewelry cases.

How do you store your jewelry?
My dresser has a long thin drawer on top that's useless for clothes. I bought one of those flat drawer organizers and used that for my jewelry. For things I wear everyday (rings and studs) I have a crystal ring holder that sits on the top of the dresser.
