Laser Hair Removal
Please tell me your experiences: the good, the bad, the ugly.
Please tell me where you went, what you got treated, and of your comfortable the price.
I'm so hairy. I'd love to get it, but I'm not sure if it hurts.

Re: Laser Hair Removal
I bought a lifebooker and have gone two times at this point ( I have 4 more sessions to go) So far so good! Lots of reduction in hair (I'm doing a Brazilian). It hurts a bit (take a few advil before). The best candidate has dark hair and light skin. If this is like you the results should be good
ETA: Doing this in Manhattan at Deldor Day Spa. Paid $200 for the 6 sessions total.

Can you define hurting a bit? Sorry, I'm such a baby!
I have light skin and dark hair, so I know I'd be ideal. After the six sessions, will the hair be totally gone or do you have to go back after that? Is there any scarring?

Re: Laser Hair Removal
Everyone is diff. so the amt of sessions will differ for everyone.
it also depends on the machine being use. I know some are more aggressive than others.
as for pain level- for me its tolerable. cant explain it. its fast and before you can think its over.
I have a friend who goes to another tech and she gets burned everytime. I never have or gotten burned. This is from a groupon deal.
so i guess you get what you pay for.

Re: Laser Hair Removal
I did Brazilian bikini about 3 years ago.
The good---my hair is much lighter and doesn't grow in some places at all. Now I can shave when I need to and there are no bumps and ingrown hairs.
The bad---I still do have some hair and I did a lot more than 6 sessions. They say 6 sessions MAY be enough but it wasn't for me. I ended up having to buy another 3 sessions and even after that, I still had some hair. I'm now at a point where I'm fine shaving when I need to, its not often and doesn't look bad. But yea, I wish I had know it wasn't permanent.
Pain--yes, its painful. But it doesn't last long. I pinched my hand during the treatment and that worked!

Laser Hair Removal
I did my arms at Laser Plus Spa in Bellmore and spent a fortune. The hair greatly reduced but still there. I am doing my armpits at Satori in the city and have had 2 sessions. They are using different lasers and I am having much better success. I paid $99 from a living social deal for these 6 sessions.
