Tips on Hiding Belly in the heat?
I'm 12w2d; I really think it's starting to get obvious that I'm pregnant!! Ideally I wanted to wait until after my NT Scan results (scan is next week). I'm thinking I'll have to say something sooner than I wanted-my Boss was looking at my weird this morning when we were talking; I noticed her glance at my stomach a few times.
It's too hot to wear a scarf around; we don't wear suits so it would be odd for me to come in wearing a suit jacket all of a sudden.
Any tips from other people not "out yet" during these hot days??

I don't know if you have anything like this, and I don't know if it's worth you to buy for just a few wears but I have a few dressy sleeveless tops (blouse-like) that hide my belly VERY well. They are all from Ann Taylor Loft and have ruffles and/or extra fabric in the front. I could be pretty far along and still hide a bump. They are also just regular tops (not maternity) so you could wear them prego or not. Might be worth buying a few if you're serious about hiding out for a while.

there are lots of tops that have lots of layered ruffles in the front (kohls, macys) that would still fit at 12w and would really help cover up!

If you're hiding, I'd be really careful what maternity tops you wear because often it's pretty obvious that they're prego clothes. I got called out on what I thought was not an obvious maternity top, and that was by a MAN of all people, lol! I think most maternity tops are meant to accentuate and show off a belly, not camouflage it, kwim? I think ruffly or billowy front non-maternity tops are much better for hiding.

I am having the same issue and decided to tell my boss. I did not want him to think I was hiding anything from him and god forbid something happens, I am going to need to explain why I am taking time off.

ITA. Most maternity stuff makes you look pg. If you're going to hide out for a few more weeks you may want to pick up a few non-maternity things. If you're coming out next week, I personally would just make due with what you have until then - it's only a few more days of work. Then you can shop for anything without being preoccupied about trying to not look pg. Good luck!

this - maternity clothes 100% make you look pregnant vs non-maternity. i have been pushing off maternity clothes at work for this reason and it is killing me

Re: Tips on Hiding Belly in the heat?
I went to H&M and Zara and was able to buy a few loose tops and loose dresses. I'm 10 weeks and still am in hiding until my NST scan. I agree with others here, when you buy maternity shirt, you tend to show more.

What about some short sleeve cardigans? Wear them open and they help camoflauge a bump. Loft has a bunch and they're all on sale for 40% off right now.

Re: Tips on Hiding Belly in the heat?
I'm having the same issue - trying to hide until I'm 17 weeks and have my review. I'm 14 and it was obvious to me this morning.
I think dresses actually are making me look more prego - reg dresses I mean.
I think pants (I am switching to mat or I use a bella band) and flow-ey tops with a cardigan are my best bet right now.
