Do you think this flower girl dress is too mature for a 3 year old?
My DD is going to be a flower girl in August and the bride is letting me out the dress and doesn't care what it is. She won't be seeing it until the day of the wedding.
I really wanted a tea length dress b/c I think DD is going to get annoyed on the heat with a really long dress.
I found this one but DH thinks it looks too old b/c of the illusion neckline.
What do you think?

I think it's cute for a 3 y/o. The girl in the picture only looks about 5, to me anyway. I think the price is really good.

I would easily buy that for my 3 year old dd... I think it could seem too old because of the girl in it with heels... I imagine it paired with flats and it would look totally different....

I'm going to say that it does look a little mature.
Looks like something a teenager would wear. I'm not sure why. I'm trying to put my finger on it... But from the post... I get that you thought maybe that too?
What's the return policy? Maybe you could order and see it on your kid? Maybe a 3 year old would make it look cute.

I think it's very cute and only looks so mature bc of the girl's age, shoes, and modelesque stance.
However, although the bride let you choose I think I would send a quick text or something to ask about length. My wedding was very formal and I think a short flower girl dress wouldn't have looked right. She might not realize you're even considering that length.

Thank you for your opinions. I appreciate them.
I did send a few pics to the bride and she said whatever you think your DD is comfortable in. Each FG is going to have a different dress.
I am just shying away from floor length for my DD b/c I think she is going to be hot and she's not much of a girly girl.
She's not excited about being a FG at all so I don't think she'd handle a long dress well.

I personally think its too short for a flower girl. I would stick with tea length or just below the knee.

I kinda think its too short for a young flower girl.... even without heels like the model is wearing.....
something tealength instead of knee length would be a better compromise... like this from same site....
