ER tomorrow at 7:30 and
went in for my bloodwork this morning before heading to a family party. They told me that they wouldn't call unless there was some change that would need to take place. They called and told me that I would need to start the PIO tomorrow following the ER instead of the day after. I will be on PIO for 4 days rather than 3. Anyone have this situation and if so what is the reason? I was at the family party when they called and didn't want to ask a lot of with people around. I am guessing that my progesterone levels must be really low...any info on this would be appreciated. I am trying not to be anxious but who am I kidding...

At my RE's office its standard to start the Progesterone the day of ER it's on their printed paperwork. I'm confused when you say you're on it for 4 days rather then 3 days? PIO is usually up until the beta and if BFP until 8th week of pregnancy

My plan is to be on PIO for four days ending on the day of the transfer then I switch to the vaginal stuff for the 2ww and first trimester unless levels are low then I would go back on PIO. I think it depends on what you need. I have no real advice since I haven't been through it yet but my guess would be that maybe they saw a trend and wanted to be proactive.

In the past I have taken PIO only for 3 days, and in this case 4, and then I switch to endometrin suppositories.

Yes, this is standard at LI IVF. If your progesterone is too low, they would switch you to PIO instead of endometrin or keep you on both.
