Over the couch ?
What can I hang over my couch? We have our heat/ac thermostat smack in the middle of the wall the couch is on, so a large painting/mirror is out. I wish we could move the thermostat but it's not an option, any ideas? Or pics?

Can you do a collage of smaller paintings or photos?
You can use still life photographs (black and white always looks great) or smaller paintings (graphic patterns or modern art looks good.. I've even see people frame nice fabric or wallpaper in small frames).
You could do a grid pattern, for example, or a circular pattern, or even just hang 3 paintings in a row.

What about putting something like this around the thermostat? Then add more pictures/frames.

What about a tapestry? You could just lift the bottom when you need to use the thermostat.
