HSG Results- help!
I had an HSG yesterday and the man who preformed the test told me that both tubes are open but the left one i guess you would say has some issues. They said instead of flowing out like the right one the left one the dye collected at the top before coming out. Does anyone know what this means???? I see my RE this week but feeling so stressed and unsure what this means for me! Has anyone had a similar result or know what it means?

HSG Results- help!
i have no experience with this, but i 'm sure this is something that your RE will be able to explain to you. Try not to over worry about it (easier said than done, i know)

Re: HSG Results- help!
i'm not sure what your results could mean but i had something somewhat similar...my HSG showed my tubes were clear but the way the dye flowed out of the tubes wasnt normal. Because i already have a DX of endo we knew right away that meant that my endo was back and the scar tissue must be around my ovaries or just in the abdomin area causing the dye to be blocked.
Keep me updated on what your RE tells you. Its not both tubes so that's a good thing! good luck

Re: HSG Results- help!
Don't think too much about it until you talk to your RE. It's possible there was just a minor blockage and the HSG pushed it out.
Also, you still have 1 clear and open tube so you can stim in order to produce eggs from your good side.
Remember, after an HSG you're more fertile for the next 3 months. Good luck!

Re: HSG Results- help!
I don't know if this is the case but it is possible that when the dye goes into your tubes they retract, which causes them to look blocked when they are not. As they are not used to liquid being forced into them. This happened with me with my right tube on HSG #1 (have now had 3). It looked blocked but I happened to get pregnant that cycle (as you are always more fertile for some unknown reason right after this test) from the right side. Unfortunately I had an early m/c. And that magic never worked for me again. Nor has anything else for that matter (yet), but that's another story. So don't be afraid to give it that good old this cycle. You just never know.
