clogged tear duct
My LO has a clogged tear duct and I was reading that you can massage the area with a warm washcloth. I was just wondering for those who have done it, how often did you massage the eye?
Thanks.

Re: clogged tear duct
I used to do it everything I was feeding her. Ultimately, for us it didn't work and she had to have the procedure when she was 1 to unblock it, but I have heard of more success stories than unsuccessful stories. If you are BFing I have heard a few drops of breast milk into the corner of the eye helps.

Re: clogged tear duct
We did it a couple of times a day. Maybe 3 or 4? It cleared up in a few weeks.

Re: clogged tear duct
Our pes recommended we do it at every diaper change. It took about 2 or 3 months to clear up.
