Alternatives to Optimum (besides Verizon)
We're looking at our TV/Phone/Internet options aside from Optimum.
We dislike Optimum for many reasons.
We currently live in Lake Grove and have Verizon Fios, but are hopefully moving w/i the next 2 mos and the area we're movign to does NOT have Fios, so if we did go with Verizon, it would be with the Dish Network.
What are our other choices????
Feedback on the Dish Network??

I LOVE our Dish Network. We have Dish for TV, and FiOS for the phones and Internet. We have absolutely no desire to leave Dish for any reason. Based on posts in LIF, our reception is much more reliable and consistent than any of the line-based providers. Our DVR is better by far than anything Verizon or Cablevision has (similar to TiVo offerings).

Aside from DISH the only other option would be DirecTV.
If your family are big NFL Fans then you may want to go with DirecTV since they are the only provider for the NFL Sunday Ticket.
