Anyone ever feel disconnected?

So I had my ER a month ago which resulted in 21 day 3 embryos but I never made it to transfer because of the OHSS. So I started an FET cycle but it's taking so long and I just feel like I have these embryos and I feel very far from them, like unless I get the random thought that they are there I could completely forget they exist. My transfer could be this week but I feel so disconnected. Does this make sense to anyone else?

I'm pretty sure I made a post like this when I was doing FETs... It's SO easy to feel disconnected, especially when you're so used to such frequent monitoring during a cycle... seeing the follies or embies... and FET is definitely a little weird- at least I thought so as well...

I mainly felt that way for my first FET. For the next one it just felt routine.. .almost as though I'm not SUPPOSED to feel connected to the cycle.. if that makes sense.

Anyway, I made those embies a year ago and this time around we're transferring them into someone else! I really thought I'd feel even more disconnected now, but the truth is, I think of her cycle as though it's mine .. and thinking mostly about the end result. I think reminding myself of the end result is what helps me most in feeling connected with the process.....

Long story short, yes I can totally identify!!
