Crazy???
Ok sorry to post so many topics but this is crazy...I went in on 6/19 for blood and sono since I got AF while on vacation...so I started BCP's and when I went in they say a follicle or cyst which was 27mm...so I went in today and the cyst went down to 20mm...just got the call that it wasnt a cyst but it was a follicle and I had just ovulated  ...really crazy that that could happen since I never ovulate on my own and how is that possible to grow a follicle in between cycles??? I was told to keep taking my BCP's and it wont affect my IVF cycle but I am finding this soooo strange...the nurse said you are able to ovulate on BCP's but did I just start developing this follicle during my 2WW???

Crazy???
i've had random cysts pop up and then just get smaller & smaller until they dissapeared.
I've never done IVF, so if your nurse says to conitnue doing what your doing...i would trust them.

Eeek...breakthrough ovulation on the pill. I'd def. make a note of what pill you're on. Maybe you need something stronger? I've heard of a few women ovulating on BCP especially their first cycle.

Oh yes! I have ovulated on the pill! Sometimes they told me to stop and wait for ad other times we changed meds! So annoying! Best of luck!

That is odd but during my last FET cycle when I went in on day 2 my lead follicle was 15mm. For some strange reason I thought they don't begin to grow and develop like that until the end of my period. I ovulated on my own around day 8 oppose to day 15ish even though AF comes every 27-28 days so I think anything is possible.

My last 2 IVF cycles I had grown follicles on BCP... It didnt effect my cycle at all but I thought it was totally strange that I could possibly ovulate on BCP. BCP are not 100% effective (clearly) and the dr. said its not common but does happen...just like those "few people who get pregnant on the pill" anything is possible.

yea kinda crazy that this happened but I am so happy that I wont have to scrap the cycle before I even start it!!!
