SLOW progress on new protocol

My protocol this time was changed to completely different meds and this time around the follies seem to be growing slower. In March I was on Gonal-F, Repronex, and Garanilex. I stimmed for 8 days and triggered. I responded very quickly to the meds. This time around I am on Lupron, Follistim (at a higher dose than when on Gonal-F), and Menopur. I assumed it would be about the same amount of stimm days or less due to the higher dosage but here it is day 5 stimms, tonight will be 6, and I have only 3 follies on the right and 3 on the left that are measurable with the largest being 11.5mm. I asked the nurse but she said it was still early and not to worry. I also asked how long I can stimm for, cause I thought I remember the RE saying they don't have patients stimm for more than 14 days, but the nurse said there is no cut off point it's how long my body takes. Anyone have experience with different protocol ='s longer time stimming?

My IVF cycles I always took Leupron (5iu) while on Follistim (Bravelle) and Menopur. The first 2 cycles I was on 200 Follistim and 75 menopur...this last cycle I was on 300 Follistim and 150 menopur...by day 6 I had a handful of measurable follies...I stimmed for 9 days the first 2 cycles (if my memory serves me correctly) having 24 follies 16mature and 14 follies-8 mature eggs respectively...this last cycle I stimmed for 11 days, 21follies-17mature.

I think you are in really good shape...your follies should be growing about 2mm every other day. you should have a nice amount :) and great sizes...
