DH and i booked our month long trip to Italy with them. (cheapest fare we found online). Traveling with a baby and toddler, I was nervous about having to bring all the gear and worrying about baggage fees... but how awesome is this:

With Air Berlin, you can bring for EACH child:
a stroller
a cot (pack and plays, for example)
a car seat

with NO additional charge! i was psyched!!!! and this is including our shorter flight from berlin to milan. now, we can just pack 2 suitcases (1 for me and DH and one for them) and not worry about being screwed with fees for everything else.

also, DD who will be 3 when we go, was a reduced fare, even though she has her own seat. (she was about $250 less than our fare)

just thought i would let people know. perhaps if you find a fare with them, even if it's a little higher than some other airline, it might be worth it if you're going to end up paying a lot in baggage fees.
