DW/Lancaster planning help
We booked the Eden Resort for July 2-5. Looking at past posts about the area has given us some great ideas. We just don't know what order to do it or whether we should skip things. If you have any food recommendations, please post. TIA
DW Hershey (not sure yet...is it that far from DW?) Crayola Factory Kitchen Kettle Village Choo Choo Barn or Strasburg RR Please Touch Museum Cherry Crest Farms
Any other suggestions?

Re: DW/Lancaster planning help
We just got back. DS is very into trains so we did Strausburg and DW. While in Strausburg we went to the national train museum. We spent a lot of time hanging out by the Caboose Hotel and watching the trains and Thomas pass. One day we spent hanging out at the pool b/c it is just that great for toddlers.

Definitely eat at the Red Caboose Motel restaurant. It's a real train car. Very cute for the kids.

Hershey is a must at some point. You can hit it on the way home. I think lancaster is over an hour from hershey. DD loved it. Went last weekend and she is 4. once you hit 42 inches you can go on even more rides

Re: DW/Lancaster planning help
Great thread. I was going to stay with my aunt in Reading but, I think a night at the train hotel is a must now!
Thanks so much for posting that.
I also LOVE all things amish so I would love to do the buggy ride (we did that once and it was awesome) and that Amish village tour (very affordable!).
I think I am going to skip Hershey this year. Liam is short and only 3 so the rides probably won't be for him and I can't go on rides this summer since I am on blood thinners for a few months. I don't want to walk around looking wistfully at the rides!
