Spinoff to your gut instinct: Did you DH have a gut instinct and was he right?
My DH swears that this baby is a girl. He won't even think of boy names because he says we won't need one.
Anyone have a DH who had a feeling and it was right? Do fathers have intuition too?

Scott felt that our baby was a girl from day 1. She was.
In all fairness he had a 50/50 chance of being right.

DH swore it was a boy and said it all along... when I started to believe everyone saying it was going to be a girl he stood his ground and never gave up that it was a boy. He was right!
Part of me thinks it was just wishful thinking though

Totally wrong. In fact, a couple of weeks after Katherine was born, he told me that he might not have agreed to that name if he thought we had any chance of having a girl...he thought boy all the way (but had NO preference one way or the other).
