What is done at the first RE appt?
My dr sent over all my and dh's tests and all the iui info but I was wondering what should I expect at the first RE appt. thanks.

At all my consults, we sat in the dr.'s office and talked about my history. Depending on the office and where you are in your cycle, you may get a sono and/or bloodwork.
You should go in with questions prepared (make a list ahead of time, it's easy to forget when you're sitting there!). You'll make a plan for steps moving, just make sure you're comfortable with everything.
Good luck!! Seeing the RE for the first time is an exciting first step!!

You may need to have blood taken...we did for genetic testing...def have your questions as to what your protocol would be...also what the monitoring hrs and get a feel for how closely they monitor you

all of this..we talked for a while then i had blood and sono done bc i was on cd 3

We talked in the office for a while. Then they did a sono. They gave me RX's for bloodwork to do over the next few weeks at different times so I could just run to the lab to have it done when I had to.
