Progesterone Side Effects
Anyone else get dizzy? or light headed?
I've been feeling this since Monday and I never had it before. When i check the pamphlet and online for side effects, these are listed under the severe category and your told to stop and call your doctor.
I spoke to a nurse at my RE's office and she said that dizziness is normal and to drink more water but since i also had some shortness of breath this morning, she is going to ask my RE and get back to me on what I should do.
Anyone else experience any of these?
**UPDATE**
the RE just called me back and said i could stop taking it since i was only on it to begin with to be on the super safe side.
now i'm super scared that if i stop taking it my levels will drop and something bad will happen. they assured me it wouldn't but told me i could come in on friday for bloodwork to see how my progesterone levels are doing.

I didn't get dizzy when I was on prog. But for about the first week after my BFP I got dizzy spells. I think it was just b/c my body was working hard and adjusting.
As for the shortness of breath - everyone in Manhattan has been complaining of that today! In this weather, the air quality is AWFUL. I could barely walk 3 blocks without getting winded.
That being said, if you want to stop the progesterone, then do it. Just go in on Friday for a peace of mind blood test.

i wish the shortness of breath happened during the day but it didn't. this morning when i woke up to go to insert another tablet of the endometrin, i went back to bed and that was when i noticed the shortness of breath. the AC was in and it was actually a little chilly in the room.
I guess i will stop it for the next 1½ and go in on Friday for additional bloodwork.
I can't imagine my progesterone levels dropping that much in 1½ days and if i need to, i'll just suffer through the dizzy spells and continue taking them
