This is what we're doing - I plan on keeping DS in there until he starts to roll (which I think will be any time now!)

Yes. It is safety tested and approved for full-time sleeping (as opposed to just naps).

We had DD in it in our bedroom for just over 9 months. I recommend transitioning slightly (or a lot) sooner than that. Chat Icon

I'm still on the fence if we will put DC in it in our room or try for the crib right away. Either way, from what I read on here and heard from others, its a great piece to have.

yes, we did for the first 3 months
he was in our room for 2 months, then we put him in the rnp for a week or so in his room to get him used to sleeping in there.
transitioning to the crib only took one or two nights before he was completely fine with it

yup. my DD hated the bassinet, LOVED the RNP and slept in it til almost 8m!!
