Flights to Dominican Republic
Those that vacationed here, what airline did you fly and was your flight direct?

Re: Flights to Dominican Republic
Do most use a travel agent or book hotel and airline on their own?

Re: Flights to Dominican Republic
It seems Jetblue is the only way to go. While American Airlines has a nonstop going, coming home doesn't seem to have nonstop and all the flights are long to get home. Only thing is Jetblue is at least $750 round trip.

Try to book a package including airfare and hotel, it may bring the overall price down then booking them separate.

Flights to Dominican Republic
We went to Dominican a few weeks ago and flew Jet Blue, our flight was direct, we booked thru expedia. Our flight was original suppose to be with American Airlines, but since their bankruptcy they cancelled our flight and we had to rebook with Jet Blue.

Do you recommend I go to travel agent or find a package online?

Re: Flights to Dominican Republic
If you book with JetBlue Vacations - you can use this promo code to get $100 off your vacation package:
GAMESHOW4
You have until August to book and I think travel has to be completed by Feb 2013.

Re: Flights to Dominican Republic
we went in february and used jet blue. make sure you have cash when entering the dominican republic airport. you have to pay a tax when you get through their airport. I want to say it was $20pp. There was someone who didn't have cash and they were giving him a hard time.

I have never used a travel agent. I always book all trips on my own.

We just got back from Punta Cana, it was 10 pp. And we flew Jetblue nonstop both ways.
