Boardwalk @ Disney
We are thinking about going over to the Boardwalk area of Disney on our first night. Does anyone know if you have to pay park admission for this area?

No there is no charge to walk around the boardwalk as it is not one of the parks. That is a great thing to do as is downtown disney when you don't want to use your park tickets. Have a great time!

No admission and how much there is to do depends on the season and crowds. You'll find jugglers, mimes, magicians and other street performers, a fabulous bakery, surrey bike rentals, and my 9.5 year old daughter's favorite, the boat ride across Crescent Lake to the Beach & Yacht Club and back.
There are also movies on the beach at the Beach Club Resort that are open to any Disney resort guest. There will be a sandwich board on the beach with the time and movie choice (always something Disney but not always animated) for the night.
Enjoy!
